Stephen
Fairley is a nationally recognized law firm marketing expert

He is the international best-selling author of 10 books

for Lawyers (2005), Becoming A Rainmaker: Business Building Strategies for Lawyers (2005), and Getting Started in Personal and Executive Coaching (Wiley, 2003) – the #1 best-selling book in the field of
professional coaching in the USA, Canada, the UK, and

Amazon.com within 2 weeks of publication.

Academically,
Stephen was trained as a clinical psychologist and practiced
in Virginia and Chicago for 7 years prior to moving into the
business and consulting field. While living in Chicago he
founded and ran two high-tech start ups. One in the health
sciences field and another provided database management
software to the restaurant industry.
Stephen is the CEO of The Rainmaker Institute, the nation’s
largest law firm marketing company specializing in small to
mid-sized law firms. Over 6,000 attorneys have benefited
from implementing the Rainmaker Marketing System. He
specializes in helping partners and associates find new
clients fast and generate high quality referrals.
On a personal note, Stephen loves to travel and has visited
25 countries. He is an avid real estate investor and owns
properties in 5 states. He is married to Ruth and lives in
Phoenix.
